Natasha Richardson died After Ski Accident

Natasha Richardson [45 yo], wife of actor Liam Neeson died after injury in a ski accident. Natasha Richardson is a film star, Tony-winning stage actress and member of the Redgrave family that is famous.

Natasha Richardson was injured Monday in a fall in the downhill ski resort in Quebec, 80 miles northwest of Montreal. Richardson fell during a lesson on the beginners' trail.

Natasha Richardson showed no visible sign of injury, but the ski patrol, followed strict procedures and bring him back to the bottom of the slopes and insists he must see a doctor.

Accompanied by an instructor, he returned to the hotel, but about an hour after he fell down that is not good. An ambulance was called, and Richardson brought to the local hospital before transfer to the Hopital du Sacre-Coeur in Montreal. From there he moved to Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

"Liam Neeson, her children, and that surprised the whole family and destroyed by tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of all people, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time." Richardson family said.

In 2007, Richardson worked with his mother in the film "Night".She was making a point to director Lajos Koltai on relatives working together.Richardson's first film role was a bit part in his father's "The Charge of the Light Brigade" (1968). After a few roles, she broke through as Mary Shelley in Ken Russell's film "Gothic", and followed as the Patty Hearst in Paul Schrader's film.

Richardson other notable films include "The Handmaid's Tale" (1990); TV movie "Zelda" (1993); "Nell" (1994), in addition to Neeson, whom she married in 1994, and 1998 remake of "The Parent Trap"; and "Wild Child" (2008).

At 22, she played opposite her mother and Jonathan Pryce in the London production of Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull"; the performance of the London Drama Critics him 'most promising newcomer award.

He won the Tony for her performance as Sally Bowles in the 1998 return of "Cabaret" and the raves for her blanche Dubois in the 2005 production "A streetcar Named Desire." She is scheduled to appear in the return of Stephen Sondheim's "A Little Night Music" this year, in January the following benefits to the performance shown.
